The Kelty Coyote 80 comes in two sizes to accommodate a variety of sizes. The Small/Medium Coyote 80 pack fits torsos from 14.5 to 18.5 inches while the Medium/Large fits 17.5 to 21 inch torsos. The single large compartment on the Kelty Coyote 80 can be accessed from the top, or through the front zippered compartment. The suspension on the Coyote 80 is adjustable with LightBeam II Aluminum stays. The adjustable CloudLock II suspension system and waist belt help to comfortably distribute the load. The patented Scherer cinch system on the waist belt gives added tightening force where you need it the most. A sternum strap and padded back panel with wicking capability put the finishing touches on the suspension. Stabilize your load using the side and vertical compression straps.
Features of the Kelty Coyote 80 include a top lid that converts into a lumbar pack, great for short hikes away from the base camp. The Coyote 80 also offers up a reservoir sleeve which makes it hydration compatible. You can strap on all that extra equipment using the lash tabs, daisy chain and the ice-axe loop. Protect and secure your personal items in the zippered side and stash pocket. A large front pocket with organization and two mesh water-bottle pockets help keep things handy.
